Career and Professional Development

Corporate Partners,

The emergence of COVID-19 has created global challenges impacting all our lives. The Atlanta University Centers’ Office of Career Services is carefully responding to this fluid situation daily to ensure that the safety and well-being of our entire community are protected. As part of this process, the AUC and its member institutions are postponing any meetings or activities which may have been scheduled due to our augmented safety protocol.  Our apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you for understanding.  We will be in touch with new updates and date options when able to proceed.  We are asking each of our corporate partners to:

  1. Utilize your respective virtual platform to conduct all internship interviews;
  2. Engage with our students via Handshake;
  3. Work with our students during this time and allow for delayed interviews / internship start dates

The Clark Atlanta University Career and Professional Development Office is committed to guiding all students throughout the different phases of the career development process. We work to help students identify and develop resources to realize their career goals through an array of services including the following:

  • Individualized and Group Counseling sessions
  • Rèsumè and cover letter assistance
  • Workshops on interviewing, job-search strategies, networking, and more
  • Internship, Cooperative Education, Summer employment and Part-time Employment
  • Opportunities to meet prospective employers and compete for positions with regional and national companies and organizations
